Oxygen Detox Peeling is the pre-shampoo step of Medavita's Oxygen routine for scalp and hair stressed by a hectic lifestyle and environmental pollution. It frees the scalp of impurities and excess sebum, gently removes dead skin cells and restores a feeling of vitality and freshness, so the scalp feels clean and can "breathe" again. pH 5.5, clinically tested, hypoallergenic, paraben-free and free from SLES, colourants and silicones; in a 150ml tube with nozzle or a 500ml salon jar.

Bamboo charcoal, pumice, caffeine and tea tree

Bamboo charcoal draws out impurities, while fine pumice powder gently exfoliates dead cells for a smoother, fresher scalp. Caffeine energises, tea tree (melaleuca) oil purifies, wheat germ extract cares for the hair, and a complex of sulphur amino acids (lysine carboxymethyl cysteinate and lysine thiazolidine carboxylate) helps keep an oily scalp in balance.

• Mix a small amount of peeling with lukewarm water to a creamy consistency.
• Apply to the scalp and massage gently with the fingertips.
• Leave on for about 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
• Remove excess water and continue with Oxygen Detox Shampoo.
